Colby Odom is a social worker and therapist whose work centers on human connection, emotional meaning, and the stories underneath behavior. His interests include psychotherapy, play, attachment, grief, rural mental health, and the ways relationships shape how people understand themselves.
The Why Between Us is an independent educational project built around one idea: people become easier to understand when we slow down long enough to ask better questions.
THE QUESTION
People are often described by the most visible thing they do: angry, avoidant, difficult, needy, distant, dramatic, unmotivated.
This show asks what happens when we look beneath those descriptions—at attachment, defenses, development, trauma, grief, relationships, culture, and the simple human need to be understood.
